4 Days Lake Nakuru National Park & Masai Mara Reserve safari

Day 1 : Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Start in the early morning at 7.30 am from your hotel in Nairobi for a drive southwards via the Rift valley view point where you will admire the escapement of the place, reach Nakuru in time for lunch which will be taken at THE CLIFF NAKURU followed by afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National park, the park is known to be the bird’s sanctuary, it is so called because the entire surface of the lake is covered by both the lesser and greater flamingoes, this park is also known for it’s big five excluding the Elephants, it is the only park in Kenya where you are assured of seeing both the white and the black rhinos, be back to THE CLIFF LODGE for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 : Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

Have breakfast at your lodge then bid Lake Nakuru goodbye as you drive to Masai Mara. You will be welcomed with a scrumptious lunch at the lodge upon arrival. Rest a bit then head into the park for an afternoon game drive. It is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeests, zebras and attendant predators. Drive back to the ELEWANA SAND RIVER MARA in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Masai Mara (Full Day)

This day you will be exploring the Masai Mara extensively. Packed lunch will be served picnic-style inside the park close to the Mara river. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions and abundant resident wildlife, and it's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many cheetahs are so used to vehicles that they seek shelter from the hot sun under them, and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. Return to ELEWANA SAND RIVER MARA in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast you can have an optional visit to the Masai village. Here you will learn about the pristine culture of the Masai tribe. Afterwards drive back to Nairobi and being dropped off at your city hotel/JKIA Airport depending on your flight timings.
