Kenya eTA Application (Brief Overview)

All travelers to Kenya must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before arrival. This system replaces the former eVisa process and is mandatory for most foreign nationals.

Application Process:

1. Visit the official portal: https://www.etakenya.go.ke
2. Create an account and fill out the online application form.
3. Upload required documents (e.g., passport, travel details).
4. Pay the processing fee (approximately USD 32.50).
5. Wait for approval (typically within 3 business days).
6. Download and present your approved eTA upon arrival in Kenya.

Note: Citizens of East African Community (EAC) partner states are exempt from the eTA requirement.
